John Combest visited his first online message board in 1995 and became hooked on the Internet immediately. He designed his first webpage as a student at Washington University in St. Louis in 1999 and created his first website two years later.

In his 12 ½ years at a Fortune 500 company, John’s diverse experiences included building corporate blogs, responding to misinformation campaigns, and crafting “executive voice” messages (ghostwriting) for global leaders. These responsibilities provided an immersive environment to observe online attacks and the professional and personal havoc they can create.

Stalking, Harassment, Internet Trolling: A Guide to Recovering and Rebuilding After Online Attacks is his first book.
